Interaction lies at the very centre of English language teaching. However, the interaction does not simply mean engaging in conversations with our students. So, we need to conduct intentionally designed activities to make our students talk. We need to do something more meaningful! We may know interaction is something additional to language teaching; however, it is integral to it. We focus therefore on organized applications of various dimensions of dialogues to instruction.

The workshop starts with a general introduction to dialogic teaching and its significance to language achievement. It is followed by hands-on sessions during which small group activities are used to illustrate dialogic implementations.
