The use of information technology allows teachers to use innovative teaching strategies in the English language to establish the link between today and the future. Integrating technology into ELT curriculum and classrooms, assessment and testing of instructional technology, specifically digital tools for the sessions’ aims, will be elaborated on.  By providing our students with the 21^stcentury learning skills, we must educate them as individuals who meet the needs of the age Grounding on these premises, language learning websites and tools will be explored.  Web 2.0 tools will be exemplified to give practical ideas for the participant language teachers. English language learning online assessment will be presented for the participant ELT teachers’ own classroom use. The ubiquitous use of digital devices and the responsibility of helping students become digitally competent require educators to develop their own digital competency and the participants will learn how to improve their digital competencies. In the last stage of the module, the participants will learn about activities made possible by Augmented Reality (AR) and they will have discussed the best practices and the implementation of those technologies into their classrooms.
