This training session focuses on using NotebookLM to support skills-based English language teaching in alignment with the English Language Teaching Curriculum of Türkiye (ELTCoT). The session explores how NotebookLM can be effectively integrated into foreign language classrooms by taking language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—as the foundation of lesson design and instructional decision-making.

Participants will examine how NotebookLM can be used to organize curriculum-aligned content, generate skill-focused tasks, support comprehension, and facilitate meaningful practice across different proficiency levels. Emphasis is placed on using the tool to enhance learning processes rather than replace pedagogical judgment, in line with ELTCoT’s learner-centered and process-oriented approach.

Through practical examples and classroom-oriented applications, the training demonstrates how NotebookLM can help teachers design coherent, skill-based activities, provide targeted support, and encourage active learner engagement while maintaining alignment with ELTCoT learning outcomes and assessment principles.
